How to Configure Email on Mobile Phone
Before proceeding with the steps, it is important that you know the difference between IMAP and POP3. When you configure your email with IMAP, then all the devices that you open your email on will be synced together. The email you get on your smartphone will be there on the tablet, computer and all other devices. Whereas, in POP3, this will not be possible.

- If you use an email address associated with a web domain you will need to manually configure the server data, then go to “Advanced” and (we suggest using) then “POP3”
- At this point, you need to enter the web server configuration data (we suggest using the SSL settings for security and privacy issues) taking care to enter the correct port for both the incoming (POP3) and outgoing (SMTP) servers.
- Set the desired synchronization intervals and periodicity (we suggest setting the lower ones to get a view as close to real-time as possible) and click on “Save” to positively end your configuration!
